Introducing Propertyscouts Wairarapa

We’re excited to introduce Laura Leaf, the passionate owner of Propertyscouts Wairarapa, bringing her hands-on building experience, strong project management skills, and deep local knowledge to property management in the Wairarapa region.

With a background in residential construction, project management, and client services, Laura has spent years helping people turn their properties into places they’re proud to call home. Property management was a natural next step for her, combining her passion for homes with her love of working closely with people.

Through her building company, Laura had the privilege of project managing the Wairarapa Critical Repair Programme and working closely with Whaiora. This experience gave her an in-depth understanding of Healthy Homes standards and what’s truly needed to ensure safe, quality living environments.

She chose to join Propertyscouts because their values align with her own - genuine care, reliable service, and a focus on doing right by both landlords and tenants. Rather than a cookie-cutter approach, Laura provides local, tailored support backed by years of experience.

A longtime Wairarapa resident, Laura is passionate about helping the local community thrive. Landlords can trust her to look after their investments as if they were her own, and tenants can expect friendly, down-to-earth service focused on providing homes people are proud to live in.

When working with Laura, you  can expect clear communication, practical advice, a bit of humor, and a lot of hard work.
